Dr. Dt. Abidin Acar, PhD

Dr. Abidin Acar was born in Siirt, Turkey, in 1985. After completing his primary and middle school education at Neslişah Elementary School, he graduated from Şehremini High School in 2003. That same year, he was admitted to Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry, where he earned his dental degree in 2009.

Following graduation, he continued his academic training without interruption and began his doctoral studies in the Department of Orthodontics at Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry. He successfully completed his doctoral thesis, titled “The Effect of the Mini-Implant Ring Appliance on Miniscrew Stability in Bones of Different Densities,” and qualified as a specialist in orthodontics.

As one of the founding partners of Diş 212, Dr. Abidin Acar has been practicing as an orthodontist at Diş 212 Clinics since 2011. He is a member of the European Orthodontic Society (EOS), the Turkish Orthodontic Society (TOD), and the Turkish Dental Association (TDB). He is also fluent in English.

His clinical work focuses on orthodontic treatment for children and adults, metal and aesthetic braces, clear aligner therapy, lingual orthodontics, and digital orthodontic applications. He evaluates different orthodontic treatment options according to each patient’s age, individual needs, and treatment expectations.

Dr. Abidin Acar has been providing clear aligner treatments since 2013 and continues his work in this field with many years of clinical experience. Through his extensive experience with a high number of successfully treated cases, he has achieved Invisalign’s Blue Diamond Apex Provider status, a level awarded to doctors with the highest levels of Invisalign case experience.

In addition to his clinical experience in orthodontics, Dr. Abidin Acar has also contributed to initiatives aimed at raising awareness of oral and dental health among children. He is the author of the children’s book “Feyza’s Happy Smile,” which aims to explain the orthodontic treatment process and the importance of a healthy smile to children in an engaging and easy-to-understand way.
